Alec Langstein, a personal trainer, former Rock Steady Boxing NoVA owner and coach, is not yet 30 but he’s changing the lives of many who are over two and a half times his age. Langstein, based in Northern Virginia, is a very motivated young man with a mission to improve and share his passion for making people with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) better through exercise. Through the COVID-19 pandemic, Alec and his assistant coach, Anne-Marie Ford, kept the group united and active through weekly Zoom classes and recordings.
Rock Steady Boxing NOVA has proven to be a tool that has made a significant difference in my life for almost 4 years! Physically and socially, the class has become an integral part of my health plan and one that I look forward to, at least 3 days a week. I think that you will enjoy this interview that Angela and I have with Alec.
If you would like to try some of Alec’s workouts, he has posted workouts for free at the My Parkinson’s Gym YouTube page.
