If you have Parkinson’s Disease, know someone with Parkinson’s, or just want to learn more about Parkinson’s, then I highly suggest that you attend this year’s Southeastern Parkinson Disease Conference in Atlanta, GA on October 14-16, 2011. More information can be found on the site www.gaparkinsons.org. You can see the full agenda and register on the site.
This conference, unique from all others, was started by my dear friend, James. The conference looks at Parkinson’s from all aspects of the illness  and includes speakers on a wide range of topics relating to people with PD as well as their carepartners. The 2.5 day conference has germinated many a friendship as it brings the Parkinson’s community together.
I am back from vacation and will be posting more later this week. Thanks for reading me.
