As Thanksgiving nears, I felt it important to focus on gratitude and appreciation. I am grateful for so much in my life and thankful for my loyal readers of my blog and book.
One of the biggest lessons I have learned from Parkinson’s Disease has been to appreciate everything. Savoring the moment and being grateful for the “little things” reveals that the little things aren’t so little.
What I am grateful for this Thanksgiving:
That I am not the Mayor of Toronto.
You probably won’t see me on Dr. Phil anytime soon.
I have no direct connection to Obama Care.
The Serious Stuff
I am so grateful for my wife and life-partner.
I am so grateful for my fur children.
I am so thankful for my family, friends, and readers.
I am so grateful for the days that my meds work.
I am so thankful to be able to share my story.
I am so appreciative for sunny days, premium dark chocolate and expansive vistas.
I appreciate and am grateful for a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
I am thankful for excellent medical care.
There is so much more that I am grateful for. I hope that you enjoy your Thanksgiving. Â Happy Thanksgiving!
