It’s been a whirlwind of activities this last month: getting ready for the World Parkinson Congress #WPC2026, travelling to Phoenix for WPC2026, and then visiting family in another state. We are finally starting to gather ourselves and content to share with you. We hope you will stay tuned as we share the nuggets we found at the Congress over the next few weeks.
Parkinson Disease Research Opportunity for those Living with Parkinson’s and Carepartners
Bradley McDaniels, PhD, CRC and Dr. Indu Subramanian have created a research/survey opportunity to learn more about the journeys of those living with Parkinson’s and their carepartners!

The purpose of this study is to better understand the experiences, strengths, challenges, and support needs of people living with Parkinson’s disease and the care partners who support them. By gathering information from both perspectives, the study seeks to examine how personal, emotional, social, spiritual, and caregiving-related factors may shape daily functioning, well-being, coping, and quality of life. Particular attention is given to the ways individuals and care partners navigate Parkinson’s disease in everyday life, including the resources that may help them adapt and the stressors that may create additional burden. Overall, the study is intended to generate a more complete picture of Parkinson’s disease as a lived experience that affects both the person diagnosed and the broader care system around them.
Please consider sharing you experiences with Drs. McDaniels and Subramanian!
