John Ball is someone that I have known for over 25 years. He has had Parkinson’s disease over 50 years and continues to impress and motivate all who hear him tell his amazing story. He was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease (YOPD) in his early 30’s, served in Vietnam for 5 years, ran his first marathon (and many more to follow) at the age of 51 and influenced millions of dollars of donations to Parkinson’s charities.
I think John is the perfect story to be the first person with Parkinson’s in our interviews as he shares his wisdom and indomitable spirit. Hear the passion in John’s voice, his dedication to awareness and staying involved, and his thoughts on living well.
